Raised in Temecula, California, Tim spent much of his early career working throughout the region's winecountry. From serving guests and leading wine tours to assisting with various aspects of the winemakingprocess, those experiences taught him the value of communication, attention to detail, and buildingmeaningful relationships. Working directly with customers from all walks of life sparked a passion forhelping people and delivering exceptional service—qualities that continue to shape his approach tofinancial planning today.
While working in Temecula's wine industry, Tim attended the University of California, Riverside, where heearned a degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance. Through coursework focused on financialmarkets, investments, and economic systems, he developed a fascination with understanding how marketsfunction and the factors that influence financial decision-making. What began as an academic interestquickly grew into a desire to help individuals and families apply those concepts to achieve their ownfinancial goals.
After graduating from UCR, Tim relocated to San Diego and worked in retail sales while pursuingopportunities within the financial services industry. During that time, a chance conversation with a financialplanner provided the direction he had been searching for. Encouraged to begin studying for the securitieslicensing exams, Tim immediately immersed himself in the industry and started building the foundation forhis future career.
As he explored opportunities in financial services, Tim interviewed with several large firms. What ultimatelyset One Pacific apart was its focus on people rather than production. Instead of emphasizing sales goals orincome potential, the conversation centered on the impact financial planning can have on individuals,families, and business owners. That philosophy aligned with Tim's own values and ultimately led him to jointhe firm.
A few years after joining One Pacific, Tim was introduced to Andrew, who had recently began working with the firm to expand Employer 401(k) Solutions. The introduction was made because of their shared commitmentto putting people first and their belief that financial planning is most impactful when it focuses oneducation, relationships, and service. Over time, that shared philosophy developed into a strongprofessional relationship that continues to help shape the experience they provide for both retirement plan participants and individual planning clients.
Today, Tim works with individuals, families, and business owners to help them navigate important financialdecisions with clarity and confidence. He believes that effective financial planning begins withunderstanding each client's unique goals, concerns, and priorities before developing strategies designed tosupport long-term success.
Outside of the office, Tim enjoys camping, snowboarding, wine tasting, and attending live music events andconcerts. He values spending time with friends and family and is always looking for the next adventure,whether it's in the mountains, at a new winery, or seeing one of his favorite artists perform live.
